About our Small Pet Boarding

Hi - My name is Paula and I am a fully insured experienced guinea pig owner and Fosterer of many with medical needs. I have experience in pregnancy, birth, hand rearing, administering medications and treating skin conditions, as well as guinea pigs that are blind, had strokes, paralysed and have cysts.
I started up a guinea pig grooming business which has now expanded into indoor boarding in a purpose built loft conversion and a building outdoors which is heated with hot and cold water.

Accommodation:

Boarding is in two purpose built rooms (a loft converted room and a heated room outdoors) in large C and C covered cages . Noodle mats are used with an area of piles of hay.
Outdoor accommodation is also available in insulated hutches with perspex fronts in winter.
Boys are kept away from any girls to avoid racing hormones!
Guinea pigs don’t come into contact with any others unless it is pre agreed that neighbouring cages with a divide is needed for those who need to be separated.

Health & Hygiene:

Thorough deep cleans after each stay is done to avoid any cross contamination. After handling each guinea pig - my hands are washed.
Any housing and equipment used is cleaned and disinfected after each stay.
Plastic hides are used to ensure they can be disinfected rather than the wooden tunnels.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

Prices are per day starting at £5.00 for one Guinea Pig plus additional £2 for each Guinea Pig living in the same cage.
Prices include accommodation, timothy hay, wood shavings, noodle mats, fresh fruit and veg - and lots of care and attention as if they were my own!!

Pick up and a drop off service is also available if local at an additional cost.
I provide a grooming service also at an additional cost. This is also available for non-boarders.
