About our Rabbit Boarding

We are dedicated to offering outstanding pet boarding. I have 10 years experience looking after small and large animals. I have always enjoyed caring for animals and we own several different pets.

We cater to specific care needs for each individual pet which boards with us. Please contact us to discuss your pets needs and allow us to reassure you these are as important to us and they are to you and your pet.

Accommodation:

We have a wide range of indoor cages in a secure and safe building just outside our front door set up for caring for small animals.

At Oxford Small Pet Boarding we provide our homemade meadow hay which has been grown and baled on our field in Marston just outside of Oxford. We also use locally sourced sawdust and straw to ensure only the highest quality bedding for your pets. We understand pets may have different needs and if you prefer your pet to use a specific bedding please bring this with you for their stay.



Your pets will be checked regularly through out the day, cuddled, spot cleaned, given fresh vegetables, water and hay. Your pets will be given toys and chews to explore and we welcome you to bring their favourite toy to make their stay more homely. You can relax in the knowledge that your loved pets well being and welfare is paramount to us here at Oxford Small Pet Boarding.

All of our indoor cages have external hay racks to prevent the hay becoming soiled. Water bottles or bowls depending on your preference for your pet. A den area for them to feel safe and secure and toys for them to explore.

Exercise:

Weather permitting pets will spend time in our outdoor pens to exercise and graze through the day in our shaded and secure garden behind our home. 



Health & Hygiene:

Our indoor and outdoor cages are steralised between guests to maintain a high standard of hygiene. All pets stay by themselves, in their pairs or groups for their stay and will not be placed in cages with other customers pets.

We only accept rabbits who have been vaccinated to prevent and protect against Myxomatosis and strain 1 and 2 of Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease. Proof of up to date vaccinations should be emailed at the time of booking to prevent your pets from being turned away on their arrival. Rabbits must have had their vaccinations a minimum of two weeks prior to their stay.
