Garden Lodge Bunny Retreat (An alternative to traditional hutched boarding)

Belinda and Bumble recently stayed here while I was on holiday and they had a lovely time. They enjoyed the clean and cosy pen, the yummy hay and greens, and having an experienced bunny owner taking care of them every day. I enjoyed regular photo and video updates to let me know how the buns were getting on. Thank you so much!

Rufus and Rusty were looked after for 5 nights by Amanda and I had updates everyday and they looked very happy in the photos and videos. I also discussed before drop off how they would like the pen as Rusty is anxious and Amanda went above and beyond to change it around for us. Makes going on holiday much less stressful knowing your Furbabies are in good hands. The lodge is beautiful as well and Amanda took the time to spend time with our bunnies and watched them on the camera to make sure they settled and were eating and pooping when dropped off which I though was great! Thank you ❤️

I would highly recommend the Garden bunny lodge retreat for your bunnies! Reasonably priced and lovely woman. My two lionheads were really well looked after and I recieved lots of pictures and videos whilst I was away which made me feel at ease.

A wonderful, inspiring setting for small pets that was totally unexpected. I knew Amanda would be an excellent pet host but this service was above and beyond our expectations! It was clean, all new and an exciting environment for our Guinea pigs who were treated like royalty, much better than being at home! Regular updates and pics of the pets having a lovely time and all this for an excellent price 😄 Definitely recommend and our little buddies will go there again! ❤️🐻‍❄️

I was a bit worried about putting Patch in to boarding as he is 9 years old and has gone blind. I needed not have worried, he was very well looked after. He got lots of nice food and fuss. I received WhatsApp messages, pics and videos from Amanda which very much helped put my mind at easy. I would definitely recommend the Garden Lodge Bunny Retreat!!!

My 10 year old bun Fidget really enjoyed his stay here over the last 9 days. He is an indoor bunny and the temperature in the lodge was perfect for him while it's cold outside. Amanda was lovely and took excellent care of him. It was so nice to receive regular updates on how he was settling in and he came home very happy. It is clear they have a great knowledge and love of bunnies. I would not hesitate to board him here in the future.

Lara seemed to have a brilliant 10 day stay at Garden Lodge. The pods looked (from photos) equipped with all her needs and lots of space for her to hop about. Amanda was very polite and responsive with messages and emails setting up the boarding and during Lara's stay. We particularly valued Amanda's daily WhatsApp updates as I've never had that sort of service from a boarder before but it helped us to see how well she was being looked after as Amanda took the time to get to know Lara and build up trust with her as she can be a shy but friendly bun. Garden Lodge are fab and I would definitely recommend and go back. Thank you so much x

Excellent care taken, Margo came home calmer and content. Extra touches like photos, variety of food offered, and update on how she was settling in so well and getting on was reassuring and showed great skill at caring for bunnies. Would highly recommend!

I was recommended Garden Lodge by my usual Rabbit boarding when they were booked up. Amanda was very informative and helpful from the day we booked our rabbit in. The place looked very clean and cosy from the photos, we didn't get to see it in person with covid restrictions but this wasn't an issue for us at all. Amanda also set up a chat on WhatsApp to send daily photos and and to let us know how he was getting on. We simply couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be using Garden Lodge again and can strongly recommend to others.

I cannot recommend Amanda and Garden Bunny Lodge enough! My bunnies have borded there quite a few times now and they absolutely love it. Amanda cares for your bunny as if they were her own. The utmost care is taken to ensure your bunnies are healthy and happy, from the type of hay they have, to the food and how they are handled, she is always able to offer advice and guidance. I am leaving my bunny with Amanda for 3 weeks this year and I know she will be in the best hands and I will be relaxed! There's pictures and videos so you can see how well bunny is doing and how happy they are, and I guarantee they will be happy! You just know with Garden lodge that you are getting the best care and service there is. (Including a nail trim for bun if they need it!) Thanks Garden Lodge, look forward to seeing you soon;

The garden lodge bunny retreat was amazing! Amanda answered all the questions that I had and even offered me a video tour of the property so I could see where my bunny would be staying. Amanda offers a service where she was able to come pick up my bunny and dropped her off at the end of her stay. During the trip, I received photo updates and I had one video call so I could rest assured everything was going well. I'm really happy with the stay and my bunny came back happy. I even got some recommendations for different hay and treats that my bunny particularly enjoyed. I will definitely be coming back to the garden lodge bunny retreat for my next holiday!

This place is amazing. Amanda has been brilliant from day one. My two rabbits stayed there and I'll definitely be going here again. My 2 bunnies have stayed at Garden lodge Numerous times over the last four years but our most recent visit was the first during Covid! We needn't have worried though- Amanda was extremely careful to ensure government advice on distancing and cleanliness was adhered to and did not let anything affect the care and attention she gives our buns. We even had a FaceTime whilst the bunnies were settling in so we could rest assured they were happy with their accommodation! There were frequent updates and pictures while we were away and Amanda (as always) took great care to cater to their dietary needs and give them lots of attention. Highly recommended for a friendly knowledgeable boarder whom you can trust will look after your buns as if they were her own. Always our first choice when we go away!

I would 100% recommend Amanda at Garden Lodge Bunny Retreat. She took care of my two bunny's so well, kept me updated everyday and also gave me great advise for my buns! (Amanda really knows her stuff!) I will be coming again to bring my girls next time I'm away, she is amazing and so kind!

I would 100% recommend this bunny hotel, Amanda looked after my house bunny for 5 days, giving me updates everyday on how he was and sent lots of pictures. Best bunny boarding I've experienced so far!! We left our Freelo there for 2 weeks whilst on holiday and I was really pleased with the care provided and how Amanda kept me up to date with regular pictures along with answering any questions I had with reassurance. As for Amanda herself, she was lovely and genuinely does care about the welfare of your rabbit whilst their boarding with her. Will be returning here again when we go away next year!

Amanda looked after our furbabies for a week whilst we went on holiday. It was our first holiday away from them so we were a little anxious. Though we needn't have been, they were very well looked after and our babies looked very happy and pampered whilst they were there. Will most certainly be going back to Amanda next time we go away 😊

I am so glad I have found Amanda and her bunny hotel. She looked after my 2 girls for over 3 weeks and they were so well looked after. She kept in touch with videos and photos of them which was so reassuring. She even administered Rozi anti biotics and took her for her check up to the vet. From the minute I spoke to her I knew she had vast knowledge about rabbits and they would be in good hands. I am so glad I've found her but worried she will get busy as word gets around how good she is. 5 stars all round from me and the girls and a big thank you.

Garden Lodge Bunny Retreat houses just a few rabbits at a time which means their guests get individual attention. Whiilst away we received regular updates via the Internet showing our bunny was happy which allowed us to enjoy our holiday worry free. We left our 9 month old bunny with Amanda for 5 days whilst we went on holiday. I was very anxious about leaving him but I needn't have worried. Best bunny boarding in the UK, and the best hostess! Amanda is brilliant- she helped us so much with any concern that we had during the process, and went beyond what we expected her to do. She made us feel completely at ease, both before and during the stay- we received constant updates and photos, and even got to Facetime with the bunny! The accommodation is as described. It really is wonderful. It is spacious and light, and Amanda makes sure to keep the bunnies warm with heaters and SnuggleSafe. I couldn't recommend The Garden Lodge Bunny Retreat and Amanda more! Five stars!

Fantastic....We have felt totally reassured leaving our fur baby with Amanda - we have used other provisions for holiday care and I can hand on heart say this is amazibg , totally geared up for rabbits needs...natural instincts and pampered. Amanda generally loves these creatures and has some much knowledge. We especially loved the photos of our baby's holiday checking she was fine from Amanda during our separation. From the moment I contacted Amanda, I knew that our rabbit would be in great hands. She asked lots of questions about Rocco and when we arrived, I couldn't believe how fabulous the facilities were. We received messages and photos of Rocco and Amanda really couldn't have done more to look after our pet. Absolutely fantastic! Treated my bunny like one of the family from day one and really cared for him even during the night when he was poorly and not eating properly. Would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you! The facilities are excellent too - lovely bunny toys, blankets and fresh healthy food. Would not hesitate to board my bunny again at the Garden Lodge Bunny Retreat.

We originally came across Garden Lodge Bunny Retreat through a google search not even aware that bunny holiday accommodation existed. It was the best internet search ever. Amanda was super helpful, the accommodation and pampering such a high standard that I wouldn't mind staying and the pets can jet off on holiday. Whilst away we received updates on Lacroix who settled straight in from the warm reception on arrival. Bunnies are incredibly pampered and spoilt, safe and happy. Highly recommended.
