Second time in four months my rabbit Starlight has stayed here and she cannot wait for her CHristmas holidays here. We have stayed in a 3 star hotel but once again STarlight has had the five star experience! Thankyou

Burrow Breaks took on my 6 guinea pigs and 2 rabbits for 10 days a couple of weeks ago. Previously friends or family had been able to care for my animals whilst I was away, however on this occasion I needed to find a boarder. I viewed several places before choosing Burrow Breaks. Upon viewing I was immediately put at ease as any pet owner is naturally anxious at the thought of having to take their pets to stay somewhere new with someone they don’t know. The best thing about Burrow Breaks is that compared to the other places I had visited, which were stacked with cage after cage, was the fact that Burrow Breaks were the complete opposite. They are small and completely personal. A place where the animal, their comfort and happiness were taken into consideration. They really are about the animal, not about the profit to be made out of boarding as many animals as possible. The fact they are smaller also confirmed that my animals would be getting the attention and cuddles they needed on a daily basis. There were large runs in the garden and spacious hutches in the summer house (where the animals stay during the night) and all was very clean and tidy. Not only were the facilities fantastic it was obvious that Julia really cared about her guests. During my view I was shown all hutches and runs, Julia took the time to answer all of my questions and I also saw the guests that were staying with Burrow Breaks at the time. They were playing happily and running up to greet Julia when walking past. This confirmed to me that my pets would be coming to the right place. I confirmed my booking on the day of viewing as I was so impressed and didn’t want them to get booked up, meaning I would have to take my girls to somewhere I viewed as second best. On the day of drop off Julia had all hutches and runs ready for my girl’s arrival. This included toys to play with, bottles, freshly grown grass trays and bowls. The runs and hutches provided gave my animals a safe place to sleep at night in spacious and comfortable hutches and large/tall runs during the day for play and exercise suitable for both types of animals I have. All housing was cleaned out regularly with fresh bedding added for my girls comfort. Julia showed her knowledge of each type of pet I have by providing them with the fresh foods in the correct quantities and varieties needed to keep my girls healthy. Julia also posted pictures regularly on Facebook of all her guests for owners to see. Personally this meant a lot to me as I was able to see the love and care my girls were receiving and that they were clearly being well looked after and were happy. Julia spends a great proportion of her day in the garden keeping an eye on the guests or in the summer house in the evening making sure everyone was ok and settled. To me as an owner this goes above and beyond any expectations I had and is why Burrow Breaks deserves as many great reviews as possible, they are truly fantastic. Which is why my animals will be staying with them from now on whenever I go away, I have no need to worry and know they will be cared for excellently. I could not praise them enough, Burrow Breaks are exceptional boarders. A HUGE thanks from me, Lola, Lela, Lizzie, Lilly Dog, Leah, Lexie, Petal and Pink.

Fantastic! Can't recommend Burrow a Breaks enough! Julia was so kind and friendly right from the moment I met her and she really put my mind at ease, I knew my two bunnies (Dolly and Nala) would be in great hands whilst I was on holiday for 3 weeks. The accommodation Julia provides at Burrow a Breaks is immaculate and extremely spacious and I couldn't think of a better place for small pets to spend their holidays! Love the fact that Julia will happily add pictures of her guests to her facebook page too which I personally found lovely! Cheeky Dolly and Nala had a fab time and would like to stay again in the future! :-) thank you!

Julia's Burrow Breaks pet boarding is the best, friendliest and cleanest I've had my two rabbits, Fluffy and Pebbles stay at. I knew this was the safest place for my rabbits to stay whilst I was on holiday. She was friendly and I knew my rabbits would be in safe hands, she was so reassuring of all of my needs for my rabbits and the fact that she posted photos of them on facebook, is even more reassuring that my rabbits were safe. I'd definitely use Burrow Breaks again, whenever I go away. Thanks so much Julia.

Absolutly fantastic, I was really worried in finding a holiday home for Starlight but after meeting Julia in the first minute I knew she was going to be in safe hands. You cannot fault the conditions of the hatches and runs for the animals. The love and care Julia gave to Starlight was out of this world and the regular updates and photos you get, really put your mind at rest. Highly recommend and have already booked her in for her Christmas holidays.

Burrow Breaks is AMAZING!!! We are so lucky to have found this boarding house for our Rabbits. It's very safe, clean and the runs and hutches are huge! What makes this special is the personal attention that Julia gives all the "guests". She puts regular photo updates of them online, so when we are away, we can see that they are being well looked after and are happy. Thankyou Burrow Breaks!
