My name is Christina and I started my boarding a couple years go due being unable to find work. I have a level 1 NVQ in animal care and have owned animals all my life. I work on my own as my facilities are not very big.
For rabbits I offer a 6ftx2ftx2ft hutches with an attached run of the same size. I also have two 6ftx2ft hutches for guinea pigs. I do have one hutch with a run that is longer. I also I have a 5ftx5ft space for rabbits with an attached run for long term stays. I offer inside accommodation for house rabbits and guinea pigs during the winter months. For other animals like hamsters and rats you will have to bring their own cages.
I do have a section of garden that I can block off for any rabbits to have a supervised hop around. I also have runs to put out guinea pigs on the grass when the weather is fine. How long depends on the animal as they can have along as they want. I also only let them out when I'm around so nothing happens to them.
With rabbits I always insist that they have up to date vaccinations for Myxi as I live out in the country where there is a chance they could catch it. I am willing to look after animals that have medication.
I charge £5.00 per hutch per night rather than by animal. With hamsters/rats/mice, etc I charge £2.00 per cage per night. For birds I charge £3.00 per night. I do not charge a deposit and will accept any cancellation as long as I am informed of them. I prefer to be paid in cash.
I am willing to do any grooming and claw clipping your animal requires when staying with me. With the rabbits and guinea pigs I provide the veg and hay. But you must bring their own dry food as I don't store the different types of dry food that are available.
I am fifteen minutes away from Stratford Upon Avon, when coming into the village I'm in the first close on the right. You will come to large square car park area, I'm the house in the far corner with a large brown shed in the front garden.
Open hours are slightly flexible depending what I'm doing during the day. Saturdays I volunteer at a Rabbit and guinea rescue mostly all day. I also do dog walking during the week days. The best thing is contact me to arrange a time to come visit. You can contact me any time.
