I have just completed an advanced technical diploma in animal management at Sparsholt college, I am now studying canine therapy at Writtle University college. I have been lucky to find an amazing course at a university that I can return home regularly to. In my absence my mum (Jeanette) manages Spring Cottage for me having worked closely with me and our ever growing lovely community of regular guests. In my spare time I enjoy looking after both mine and others furry friends.🐭🐹🐰🐱🐶 after all they are more than just pets, they are part of our families xxx
We currently have just 12 purpose built hutches ensuring your furry friends get the ultimate care and attention.
They are fully insulated as is the building that houses them to ensure stability in temperature.
The cottage is double glazed and locked to secure the guests overnight.
The cottage has its own lighting and electricity supply for additional fans or heating if needed.
There is an outside run and exercise area which is available in a secure private garden. Fully fenced off from the rest of the garden.
Daily use of outside run will be available subject to weather conditions and individual preferences.
In the event of poor weather or for those who aren’t keen on the green stuff, we also have indoor runs which can be attached to the bottom hutches allowing your pets the freedom to pop in and out of their hutches as they choose.
Hutches are cleaned daily and fully sanitised after each visit.
Fresh high grade dust free hay and straw, clean water daily and seasonal treatments.
Rabbits are bedded on sawdust and straw with daily supply of hay, please advise when booking of any alternative requirements.
Guinea pigs all bedded on back to nature or care fresh as standard, please advise on booking if alternative bedding is required.
