About our Small Pet Boarding

The small pet hotel is a small family run business, we have many years experience in looking after a variety of pets. Our aim is to offer good quality care in a home setting, ensuring your pets have the best holiday while you're away.

We decided to create The Small Pet Hotel and provide pet care because we have found it difficult to find someone to look after our small pets. Someone who was both available and experienced. We realised that other families had the same problem.

We can board all small pets including reptiles and birds. We also offer a pet sitting service for any pets including chickens, fish, reptiles and cats.

Accommodation:

At our home we have a pet room which is secure, peaceful and has a homely atmosphere. Pets will be checked on regularly and be given plenty of attention and things to do although they will not have outside access. Smaller pets like hamsters and mice should be brought in their own cages but for pets like rabbits and guinea pigs we have large indoor cages (we have both single and double storey depending on what your pet is used to). Please note all pets brought to us should have their usual dried food provided.

Exercise:

Pets won't have outside access but will be given plenty of things to do to keep them occupied and happy. However if your pet is used to being outside you may wish to consider our pet sitting service instead.

Health & Hygiene:

Our hutches are thoroughly cleaned before and after each pet arrives along with all bowls and dishes. We also take special care to make sure all play equipment is cleaned after each use. Boarding:

Small Furrys -

Double hutches £7.00 per day
Single storey hutches £6.00 per day

Hamsters/ Gerbils/Mice £2.00 per day
Parrots/ Cockatoos £7.00 per day
Budgies/ other small birds £5.00 per day

Reptiles/tortoises from £5.00 dependant on species and care requirements

Pet sitting:

We visit once or twice a day, providing care for your pets in their usual home.

Once daily - £8 per day

Twice daily - £10 per day

Other Services

Pet Collection and Drop off Service:

We can offer a pet pick and drop off service which is charged at 75p per mile to cover our time and travel expenses. If you would like this service please advise us in advance of your stay.

Hutch/Cage Cleaning –

We offer a hutch/cage cleaning service. Hutches/ Cages cleaned while you are away ready for you and your pets to return from your holidays. All waste materials taken away.

Regular Cleaning:

We offer a regular cleaning service for all pet hutches/cages.
Clean only, or clean plus new bedding- choices of sawdust/straw/Hay/paper
All waste materials taken away.

Double Hutches:
Clean only £8.00 per hutch
Clean plus bedding £10.00 per hutch

Single Hutches:
Clean only £6.00 per hutch
Clean plus bedding £8.00 per hutch

Reptile vivarium and Chicken coop cleaning available – prices on request
