I'm Vikki, I grew up around dogs, cats, small furries and our beloved New Forest pony 'Mr Temmus'. I have a passion for being outdoors enjoying nature and coastlines with a dog or few by my side.
In 2014, after a few years feeling very disheartened in my Local Government career I decided to take a leap of faith and do something I had always wanted to. I set up my own dog walking business and soon became busier than I could ever have imagined, and after 3 & 1/2 years found myself in the fortunate position of being able to streamline my business in the direction that best suited me and as the owner of 3 'mini mutts' ourselves it was a natural progression to focus on providing the type of service I would seek for my own small dogs.
In my spare time I'm involved with Serbia's Forgotten Paws, and Kitty Cat Rescue Serbia after adopting Mila from them in 2013, travelling there on a self funded 'voluntourist' trip to work at the shelter, then becoming a member of the 'failed foster club' after foster dog Penny stole our hearts and became our 3rd resident Mini Mutt. I'm a keen fundraiser and collect donations of beds, food, and blankets, carry out home checks, assist with transport runs and the occasional foster dog.
I live with my husband, our grown up daughter, and our own trio of Minis.

Doggy guests stay with us in our clean, spacious, smoke free home where everything is tailored for the wants and needs of the smaller dog. No kennels, metal runs or crates - just sofas, snugly beds, toys, enrichment games, and of course belly rubs and cuddles.
The garden is fully enclosed and secure and during the summer months a paddling pool is available for Mini paddles.
We have access to a fully enclosed green space just a hop, skip, and a jump from our house.
Outdoorsy adventures are a big part of life for us. Our own and doggy guests are walked every day and there is nothing we love more than leisurely beach, park and woodland walks followed by cosy evenings on the sofa.
We'll discuss your dogs individual exercise requirements with you at our 'Meet & Greet'.
We have a variety of enrichment toys to provide supervised group or solo sessions of stimulating, challenging fun in addition to physical exercise or when rainy day walkies is not preferred.
The health, safety and happiness of all dogs is our priority. A satisfactory pre-boarding 'meet & greet' is essential and a free trial session is offered to first time nervous guests. Mini Mutts only accepts neutered dogs and spayed bitches (with the exception of those less than a year old) additionally dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. Owners are requested to bring their dogs vaccination card with them to the meet & greet.
Owners must complete our registration form and veterinary release form to ensure we have relevant health information and to avoid any delays in their dog receiving veterinary treatment whilst in our care.
We are happy to administer medication with owners written permission and instructions.
We are trained in canine 1st aid with a refresher course taken every 2/3 years.
