I have been boarding dogs in my home since 2006.
My own dogs are Molly a petite collie cross rescued from euthanasia in an Irish pound. We think she was born in June 2015 and as she is young and lively loves having friends to play with. Simba is a young at heart 13 year old lab originally a guest who we adopted recently when his owner relocated abroad.
I have the highest rating of 5 stars by Wiltshire Council, am trained in Canine First Aid and have specialist pet minding insurance. Certificates are displayed in the kitchen. Licence No: 000015232
We live in an old Cotswold stone house with a light, airy kitchen. The underfloor heating and Aga means it is always warm on even the coldest nights.
There is a 1 1/2 acre garden and orchard for romping around. It provides ideal exercise for the elderly and injured who cannot manage a full walk.
Our morning walks are at least an hour and luckily there are a huge variety of local walks on footpaths, through open fields, along brooks and in woods. Westonbirt Arboretum is 10 minutes away and occasionally we go further afield to the beach at Breen.
Throughout the day the dogs have supervised access to the garden and love nothing more than helping maintain it!
Vaccinations including kennel cough, worming, flea and tick treatments need to be up to date. Recent legislation means that Titre tests covering the period of stay are also acceptable.
I am registered with The George Veterinary Group in Malmesbury who will be used in an emergency.
Pets on medication are welcome.
Dry food is kept in clean vermin proof containers in my utility room. Wet and raw food is kept in the fridge or freezer.
Your dog will wear a tag with my address and telephone numbers for added security.
I am trained in canine first aid and have first aid and grooming kits.
