We are a family home, so dogs visiting have a 'home feel' to their stay. Most visitors can be found lounging around on the sofa and following us around the house! I have one pointerX female who loves to play and welcome visitors.
Large garden for wandering around, and nosey at my ducks; I am also situated next to the Stapenhill Washlands, the Pleasure Gardens and Ferry Bridge. So there is plenty of lovely places for walks. I have pre-formed plastic dog beds with blankets and soft fillings for sleeping. I don't mind where the dogs want to sleep, as long as they are happy. Enclosed garden, but I generally don't leave them outside unattended - I like to keep an eye on them.
I think good exercise settles dogs and keeps them happy. Some elderly dogs may only want short calm walks and some younger ones want to tear around the fields with a tennis ball! I adapt walk needs to individual dogs, and some may be walked with my own dog - but not will my regular day time dogs.
I have had to give medications to dogs, from ear drops to pills. I am used to those under veterinary care, and I have taken dogs to the vets so they don't miss appointments when the owner is away.
£15 per day, each day. Pretty flexible about dropping off and picking up times, as long as communications are good - so I am not hanging about waiting. Visits to look around are fine, then you can either book your dog in or pay a deposit if you wish.
Cat care, small animals and reptiles. Virtually anything! Can transport as in collect or drop off as I have a van.
