About our Home Boarding

Over 14 yrs of greyhound ownership, we fully understand the quirks of the breed and the high prey drive that stays with many greys for ever.
I run the business and my husband helps after work and on his days off. We have our own grey, who is 6 and very quiet and good with other dogs.

Accommodation:

Your grey will be as our own during their getaway at greyhoundgetaways and receive lots of cuddles and attention. Our garden is fully secured with fencing & hedging and is large enough for plenty of zoomies. We will try and accommodate your dog to sleep in the area he normally sleeps in at home.

Exercise:

Apart from the garden, your hound will get a minimum of 2 x 20 minutes walks each day either in the local vicinity which is a mixture of quiet lanes and countryside and or with the owners consent, may be taken out in the car for a walk in different places from time to time.

Health & Hygiene:

All dogs must be fully vaccinated or have had a recent titre test. They must also be up to date with flea, tick & worm treatment.
All areas are cleaned and disinfected with dog friendly products between clients.
We only take well behaved & fully house trained greys. No puppies.
Our vet has a 24 hour service in the case of emergencies.

Home Boarding Prices

2023 prices.
£30 per night. Early check in and or late check out times will incur extra charges.
Christmas and bank holidays will incur extra charges.
50% deposit payable at time of booking to secure your dates to be paid via bank transfer, balance to be paid 7 days before arrival.
Cancellation policy applies.
All hounds must come for a meet & greet and must come for a trial stay first. We want to ensure that your grey is happy and settled along with our grey before they stay for longer periods. 😊
