About our Home Boarding

Experienced dog owner I have bred and shown English Pointers and had 4 wonderful German Shepherd dogs in my life plus an assortment of mutts which have been a pleasure to have known I now specialise in the smaller dog who needs extra attention I am fully insured, licenced by Guildford Borough Council 5* rating and CRB checked

Accommodation:

Guest dogs have a full run of the home and garden as I believe they enjoy being with us The garden is fully fenced and safe I will follow owners wishes with sleeping arrangements but they are welcome to sleep in my bedroom my boy sleeps on my bed and some little ones like to join him my guests settle in very quickly and seem to enjoy their holidays with us my boy is a very relaxed dog and welcomes his little friends to stay he shared his toys etc and can be known to have a good play game if a dog is shy or wants to just rest he is happy to leave them enjoy a sofa

Exercise:

I am at home with the dogs all the time except an odd quick trip to Waitrose the garden is fully fenced and dog proof I mainly walk in the woods and like dogs to be off lead with a good recall or if on not to pull We do sometimes meet deer and horses so cannot have prey chasers
Due to current circumstances I cannot undertake the long hourly walks only. I ask clients if they would be happy for my ‘go to dog walker’ to do these walks, she is a long term friend who I trust implicitly with my own dog. The dogs will meet her and we make sure they get to know her on their visiting days before they come for their long stay

Health & Hygiene:

Vaccination Certificates are required. Dogs can be treated by my vet if approved by owners

Only spayed/castrated dogs accepted.

Must be house trained and not pee/ poo in the house
Dogs must be well behaved

Home Boarding Prices

£40 per dog per day charged irrespective of time of arrival/departure

£40per day/night

Other Services

I offer a superior individual dog care service with lots of love and attention given to each pet I specialise in the small older dogs now I am with the dogs 24 hours except for emergencies and food shopping etc Only House trained/ well behaved neutered dogs accepted.
I can no longer care for the larger energetic breeds
The council provide all the forms for animal care There are many which must be completed and signed by the owners It is illegal to care for animals without being registered
Due to current circumstances at the moment I do use my own dog walker for the hourly walks the shorter walks I do my dog walker is well known to me I trust her implicitly with my own dog having had her to walk my boy when the need arises I am transparent at the initial stage of enquiry and can answer any questions regarding this before booking regarding references etc
