Home boarding and day care in a home environment is increasingly becoming the preferred choice for dog owners.
If you have a sociable dog who loves the company of others, having all the creature comforts of home, then home boarding is perfect for them.
I am licensed with East Lindsey District Council, Animal Boarding Licence No. ABO010974 and have public and third liability insurance.
I have worked with dogs with behavioural problems for many years and am a member of the National Therapist Register (MSFTR).
My home is 'canine friendly'. The dogs have their very own play room, with direct access to a fully enclosed and secure rear garden.
Your dog will have full access to my home including the sofa! However I do respect routine, if you do not wish for me to allow access to beds or sofas I will respectfully adhere to that.
Dogs are not left unsupervised at any point during their stay, if I am out the dogs are always with me.
If your dog is unable to be walked due to medical reasons, then an appropriate carer will be at hand to cover these periods.
We are surrounded by beautiful countryside walks. Please visit our Facebook page, as the dogs and I are always out exploring!
Exercise is based on each dogs individual needs. An agreed care plan will be put in place, before the home boarding period. Please note that during the summer period on very hot days, we do not walk dogs during the day. This should only affect dogs booked in for day care. Dog's that are boarding with me will be walked at first and last light on those days.
All dogs are lead walked unless prior permission is given for them to be exercised off lead in a suitable environment (countryside walks).
I have to ensure that all dogs have their vaccination certificate up to date. A copy of which is required for me to keep on the premises.
The kennel cough vaccine is not a licence requirement, as it is a home environment. However I do encourage it as dogs presenting with kennel cough will unfortunately be turned away, which is worth taking into consideration so not to disrupt your hard earned holiday period.
If you have chosen to have the kennel cough vaccine, it must be administered 14 days prior to your dogs stay.
Rates: £22 per dog per 24 hour period.
Drop off and collection times are flexible and prearranged. To enable us to continue to be flexible, we ask that you are punctual, as we have to plan our day around you arriving.
I offer a grooming service to all dogs that are boarding with me.
