We are a small family run company offering a very limited number of purpose built boarding enclosures. This enabled us to provide unprecedented personal one-to-one attention for all our resident animal guests. We believe that animals placed in our supervision should be treated as if they were our own.
We can accommodate dogs of all sizes and also have provision for multiple pets so they don't have to be separated when they stay. The owner must supply the dogs food while they stay with us.
Dogs have regular exercise time out in the Sensory Garden (250m2).
Health & Hygiene:
The dogs vaccinations have to be up to date, we require a copy of them when you drop the dog off. We also prefer the dog to have kennel cough vaccination to keep them safe. Your dog is also insured for vets fees while they stay with us.
Boarding Kennel Prices
Short stay (3nights or less) is £20 per night for one dog, two dogs sharing is £35 per night. Longer stays (more than three nights) is £18 per night for one dog, two dogs sharing is £30 per night.
Day boarding is £15

I left my pup Ozzy (springer spaniel) who was only 15 weeks old at the time to get him used to kennels. He loved it at Dunaskin Kennels playing with all the other dogs in the garden and play area. These kennels are immaculate, first class and very spacious. Malcolm takes very good care of the animals and plays with them and gives them good walks. I also love how he puts the pictures of your dog on your Facebook to show you how they are doing. I would definitely recommend these kennels to anyone who is looking to board there dogs as they are first class

My dog (Rudi) has stayed at Dunaskin Kennels on 3 occasions. Rudi loves her stays there, and I like seeing pictures of Rudi out in the gardens playing with other dogs. She is also walked in the lanes around the kennels regularly.
I would recommend Dunaskin kennels to any dog owner, kennels are spotless and the gardens are a good size.

My dogs bound from the car and run in like they are home. They don't seem to pine for me either Benson (lab/collie mix) usually doesn't eat for a day or two when I leave him anywhere. Not at Dunaskin, happy from the moment I leave him. Roxy the Rottweiler loves it here. She is a big dog and there is plenty of room for her and Benson to share. Best kennels I have ever used and I have used many.

A great kennels run by a fantastic family, Malcolm,s attention to detail was simply superb, the kennels are so clean and fresh and new.
The garden / play area is an added bonus that Novo our Labrador loved. Thanks Malcolm, we wont go any where else and will tell every one about you.
Just off the main road between Waterside & Dalmellington. Heading from Ayr turn left at the end of the row of cottages on the left hand side, follow the road up and turn to the left past the old church, bear to the right and follow the road to the end.
