About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsHamsters, Mice etc.Lucy Cottages is a lovely small boarding facility which offers clean,safe accomodation for your small pet.
Why are we small? Because we believe it is important to give time and attention to each individual animal that boards at Lucy Cottages. Looking after your small pet is our pleasure. Come and visit for peace of mind, we would love to see you.
We have been established since 2009. CRB checked
Accommodation:
Up to 6 foot hutches sheltered in a lovely log cabin
Hutches are checked and refreshed every day
Fresh food and water are given daily
We have flyscreens to prevent flystrike and biting midgies
We secure our Log cabin at night to protect your pet
Heating & Fans (depending on weather)
Snuggle pads for extreme cold weather
Ice pods for extreme hot weather
Spacious Large runs
(Hamsters and Gerbils to be in thier own cage)
Accomodation is ideal for indoor bunnies
Outdoor bunnies love the security of the cabin at night. Luxury boarding for your pets.

Exercise:
Pets are put into runs for daily exercise indoors or out (depending on weather)
Runs up to 7 x 4 foot
Tunnels and toys are supplied for play
Hamsters can be put in a play ball for excercise (to be supplied by owner)
Health & Hygiene:
Valid Myxomatosis and VHD certificates are required for rabbits - MUST BE SHOWN ON ARRIVAL
Local vet on hand 24 hours - 2 minutes away
Daily Health checks
Please bring pets normal dried food (a change in diet can upset your pets tummy)
For the PROTECTION of your bunny or guinea-pig (if prone to a soiled bottom) it is advisable to treat them with REARGUARD to protect them from FLYSTRIKE. Your vet will advise.

FEES
Rabbits £5.00 per day or two sharing £6.00
Guinea-pigs £4.00 per day or two sharing £5.00
Hamsters £2.00 per day (must be in own cage)
(Unable to accomodate Giant Rabbits - Sorry!)
PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ON DAY OF ARRIVAL

Other Services
Pick up and drop off service in the Woolston area availabe from 2013. Charges apply. Other area's may be considered.
For 2014 we will be offering home visits to feed and check on your little furries. For more information on this service please contact us.

Visits are only available by ringing and booking an appointment
Closed from 11.15am to 1.45pm weekdays
Closed Sunday for drop-off & pick-ups (unless special circumstances)
Dropping off and picking up times are by arrangement only.
(Please try to keep to arranged dropping off and picking up times, as you may find I will be unavailable) if you are running late or need to drop off at a different time please let me know as early as possible, this will be much appreciated.
