About Our Boarding Service:

Here at AjCavies in Godalming in Surrey I offer a caring and
dedicated boarding service that will give you peace of mind knowing that your Guinea Pig(s) will be getting the best care possible.

My main concern is for your guinea pig(s) welfare. I only take a few boarders at a time, so your Guinea’s can have some personal attention every day.
The hutches are checked and spot-cleaned daily, renewing hay, food and water, with a thorough clean-out at least once a week.
I use Megazorb with a layer of Comfy bed, and Meadow Hay in the sleeping compartment. All hutches in the winter months will be covered at night.
I always suggest that owners bring their own guinea pig's dry food for consistency but this is optional.
Fresh fruit/veg is given twice a day unless you specify otherwise along with meadow hay and Readigrass is given when fresh grass is not available in the winter months.
Please advise of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking. You will be asked to sign a form detailing any special needs.

Accommodation:

Guinea pigs are housed in 3ft 6in hutches with felt roofs and sheltered from draughts, wind and rain I also have fully weatherproof Nero3 cages which are used in high season. All Hutches/Cages are Complete with hay rack, water bottle, food bowl and mineral lick and with a battery light. All contents are thoroughly cleaned and sterilised after each stay.
When weather allows guineas will go out onto the grass in their own covered run. You are most welcome to bring any toys/igloos that your Guinea’s use, to make them feel at home, although these can be provided during their stay.
Unfortunately I cannot provide accommodation for more than 2 guinea pigs living together unless the owner requests this.

Exercise:

Weather Permitting All Guinea pigs can have access to an exercise run that is securely Covered.

Health & Hygiene:

All Cages are Spot Cleaned twice daily and replenished and a Full Deep Clean is given weekly. All Guinea pigs are Groomed daily and given individual care and attention at all times

I have a minimum stay period of 5 days.

Please note that unlike many boarding establishments I do not charge extra for bank holiday stays, my prices remain the same 365 days of the year.
