About Our Boarding Service:

Moosehoose is a small family run service, we are very friendly and experienced and can accommodate any reasonable requests. We've had a variety of pets ourselves and working previously as a vet nurse assistant I have gained lots of useful knowledge and experience. When you pet comes to stay with us they become a member of our family and get treated as such. You can enjoy your holiday and relax knowing that your pets are relaxing too. We welcome you to come and have a look round before you have your beloved pets come to stay, you need to know that your pet will be staying somewhere safe and with people who will care for your pets as you would.

I am a member of Nationwide Associates of Registered Pet Sitters (NARPS) and The British Rabbit Council.

Accommodation:

Our new accommodation is in the recently built boarding lodge. We have 5ft, 6ft and 10ft x 2.5ft hutches and also good sized outdoor hutches/runs for daily exercise. These can also accommodate your pet 24/7 if they are used to living outside, so we can keep their environment as familiar as possible.

Cages are available for chinchillas and degus if their own can not be provided.

Exercise:

We have runs outside for rabbits and guinea pigs to stretch their legs, with shelter from the wind and rain if needed. We have a safe room for rabbits, chinchillas and rats to run around inside and hamster's will be let out in exercise balls in the house.

Health & Hygiene:

Your rabbits should be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and VHD if they are not please let me know when you enquire, we may still be able to accommodate you.

We do cater for pets that need medication during their stay, please give details upon booking.

Other Services

Services: GroomingClaw Clipping

We also offer claw clipping to rabbits and guinea pigs. We can do this free of charge while your rabbit or guinea pig is boarding with us. Or for a small charge of £1 per animal if your pet is not staying with us.

We also offer boarding to chinchillas, degus, rats and most other small animals, please just ask if we can cater for your pets if they aren't mentioned here.
