Small Pet Boarding Information

About Our Boarding Service:

Weston Coyney Pet Lodge offers your animals 35 years experience in animal care, This is a family run business and offers your pet the care in the best surroundings in Stoke-on-Trent. Apart from boarding facilities we offer cat sitting, and home visits, we also breed budgies.

Accommodation:

We offer inside and outside lodges, inside lodges heated in the winter to a constant 16 degrees to suit all our boarders. Our purpose built pet lodge contains boarding for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, mice, chinchillas, gerbils and all small animals to many to mention. Lodge sizes (outside) are 44" wide 24" deep and 20"(at least) high,all outside lodges have night time panels to stop wind and rain & rain and sun canopy's. Inside we have one hutch that is 4 feet wide by 14" deep and another that is 5 feet wide by 14" deep, we also have three 6 foot 'L' shaped hutches and another two 5 foot hutches recently added.

Exercise:

Outside, we have excercise runs with lots of toys etc to stimulate our little ones minds, upon the owners permission your pet will be invited to spend the day in our runs,( at peak times we may only be able to offer half a day in the runs, we have 12 runs but are planning to add more) surrounded by our lovely garden, all runs have amble cover to safe guard against rain and sun.

Health & Hygiene:

All animals should arrive in good health and will be checked on arrival, all rabbits boarded must be covered against Myxomatosis viral Haemorrhagic disease. Any medication will be administered as requested. Any animal that may need attention from a vet whilst in our care will be taken by us, but any costs met by the owner.

Other Services

If requested we can trim your pets claws and groom any longer haired animal.
