About Our Boarding Service:
A pet holiday service offering luxury accommodation for your small furry and feathered friends including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rats and birds.
Your much loved pet will get a home from home service with all the care and attention they could possibly want. Whilst on holiday you will have peace of mind that your pet will be happy and content in a clean, safe and secure environment.
I am fully aware of the anxiety you may face when leaving your pet in the care of someone else having been faced with this situation many times myself. You will have no need to worry as your pet will be treated like one of the family and given a personalised and pampered holiday of their own.
I am a Fully Qualified Veterinary Nurse and have many years experience of caring for animals so you can be assured that when your pet comes to stay with us at SnugBugs they will be cared for to the highest standard and there is always plenty of time for play and cuddles which are just as important to the health and wellbeing of your furry friend.

Accomodation:
For rabbits and guinea pigs that stay with us we have a purpose built cabin which contains 6 luxury hutches. The hutches are of the highest quality and extremely spacious. They are all weatherproof even though they are situated in the SnugBugs cabin to ensure the maximum comfort for your pet.
There are 3 hutches 4ft x 2ft for smaller rabbits and guinea pigs and 3 hutches 5ft x 2ft for larger rabbits and pairs. The floors can be opened up if more space is required.
The cabin is well ventilated during the summer and for really hot days we have a cage cooler specially designed to stop them over heating. In the winter they are kept nice and snug with hutch covers and for those really cold nights we can use the snugglesafe heat pads to make sure they are really cosy.
Litter trays, toys, tubes, bottles and bowls etc are provided for each hutch, or you can bring your own if you prefer. For bedding I use megazorb. Toweling or fleece can also be provided.
The smaller furries and not forgetting feathered friends!
Hamsters, Gerbils, Rats etc will be accommodated in the house, you will need to bring their own cage with enough food and bedding for the holiday. If you are bringing your own cage please make sure it is secure!
Budgies, Canaries, lovebirds, Cockatiels and larger parrots are also welcome. I love birds having 4 budgies myself and love their cheeky natures and watching their daily goings on.
If you would like us to look after your bird you will need to bring their own cage and enough food and treats for the duration of your holiday.
Exercise:
For daily activity there are spacious runs available and your pet will be given the opportunity to play outside in these runs which are situated on the lawn.
Weather permitting they will have as much time outside as possible to play and run about with plenty of stimulating tubes and toys to keep them occupied. The runs are purpose built and provide some area of shade throughout the day.
Health & Hygiene:
My main aim is to make your pets feel at home, in order to do this I do ask for a care sheet to be filled in this details their usual routine, favourite fruits & veggies.
I only take on a small number of boarders at a time, so your pet can be given personal attention. You are welcome to bring your own bowls, bottles, beds, toys etc, or these can be provided if you wish.
During their stay your Rabbit and Guinea Pig will be provided with:
• Fresh fruit and vegetable treats daily
• Timothy or meadow hay and dried grass
• Fresh water, changed daily, can be provided in bottle or bowl
• Daily access to all weather outdoor runs
• Indoor play area in winter
• Daily flystrike checks
• Lots of love and cuddles

Prices available upon request.
The prices include all your pet's bedding and their daily supply of fresh fruit & vegetables etc.
A 25% non refundable deposit secures your booking.
