Small Pet Boarding Information

About Our Boarding Service:

I'm an animal lover in my early 50's, and will look after your pet with as much love and attention you would look after them yourself. I have a current Enhanced CRB check through my employer (I work part time 9.15am to 3.45pm, Mon-Fri).

I have two budgies at home so cannot board cats or dogs, but I can look after them in your home.

I am a non-smoker, and my home is a non-smoking environment. My house is clean & tidy, and is in a nice area in a cul-de-sac. It's just my husband & I at home.

House bunnies are a particular favourite - all wires are protected!

Accommodation:

I can look after most caged or tank kept pets in my own home.

My garden is all laid to plants so I have no grass to put a run on, but I do have a small patio area on which I can fit a small hutch or run (you need to bring your own).

All pets will live as part of our family in the middle of our house, not out of the way in a spare room.

Exercise:

Your pets will be handled/not handled and/or exercised to your requirements.

If I'm looking after pets in your home, I will spend time with them, not just feed & water.

Health & Hygiene:

I will take a note of your pet's routine, likes & dislikes and keep to these - you specify what you would like me to do.

If your pet is to stay with me, I will not book another that needs the same space or may be a danger to one another.

Small Pet Boarding Tarif

I'm trying to keep my prices as reasonable as possible and I only charge 20p per mile round trip if I look after your pets in your home.

Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens etc in your home - £6.00 per visit for pets if they are all the same animals together, £10 per visit for two different kinds of animals i.e. if there are multiple dirt trays, enclosures to clean etc.

Mice, Gerbils, Hamsters, birds, reptiles etc - FROM £1.00 per night up to 4 in one cage/tank (in my home).

House bunnies in my home: £4.50 per night for one bunny, £6.00 per night for two bunnies.

50% of total cost to be paid at time of booking confirmation. The balance can either be paid when you drop your pets off, or pick them up on your return.

No booking is confirmed without a deposit. I will pencil your dates in and give you the opportunity to confirm if I have enquiries from someone else for the same dates.

If your pets are to be looked after in their own home, prior to confirmation of your booking, I will visit you so you can show me exactly what you want me to do and to give you confidence that I will look after your pets correctly. You are not obligated to confirm your booking at that meeting; I can leave you with a booking form and you can confirm later if you decide to do so.

If you would like me to look after your pets in my home, you are very welcome to visit me prior to confirming your booking to ensure my home is suitable for your pets. You are not obligated to confirm your booking at that time; you can take a booking form with you and confirm later if you decide to do so.

My time for taking pets to the vets or waiting for vet to come out charged at £10 per hour or part thereof. Associated mileage charged at 20p per mile.

Other Services

I can also water your plants inside & outside and put your post out of sight, put your bins out/take them in or any other jobs that need doing i.e light gardening, some no charge, some from an extra £1.00 depending on the job.
