About Our Boarding Service:
We are a mother and daughter team that aims to offer a hygienic, safe and caring environment for all small animals.
We both have 20 years experience of small animals and still help with a local rabbit rescue caring for homeless and injured bunnies.
In addition Suzie is studying veterinary nursing science. She is educated in animal behaviour and is able to recognise signs of stress and abnormal behaviour. We put in place measures to prevent this from happening, therefore ensuring your animal has a happy and healthy stay!
Glos bunny boarding is available all year with no additional costs for bank holidays and Christmas.
We are both members of the Rabbit welfare Association and are CRB checked.

We adhere to R.S.P.C.A rabbit and guinea pig hutch guidelines.
All rabbit boarders depending on size are kept in 4ft - 5ft long hutches with a separate sleeping compartment and are exercised daily in large runs.
Guinea pigs are kept in 3ft - 4ft long hutches.
Timothy hay and straw is supplied as bedding. Extra bedding is provided during the autumn and winter months.
During the winter the hutches will be kept inside a shed with heat pads to ensure all bunnies and guinea pigs are snug.
Nutrition:
All boarders receive fresh water, hay, food and fruit and vegetables daily.
I am able to provide for bunnies that eat Burgess Excel and guinea pigs that eat Supa Guinea Pig Excel, any other food brands will need to be supplied for the duration of the stay.
Any special dietry requirements please provide food.
To make your small animal feels at home, please bring with you:
• Their own food bowls & water bowls
• Their own toys
• If your bunny is on medication please bring this with you.
• Please also give me a list of your bunny’s and guinea pigs favorite veggies
Exercise:
Daily exercise with environmental enrichment to maintain natural behaviour patterns and reduce stress.
And of course lots of cuddles daily!!
Health & Hygiene:
Every rabbit will be checked twice a day for fly strike.
All rabbits and guinea in need of a groom are groomed daily.
Claws can be cut FREE of charge at the owners request.
If your rabbit is currently on any medication please ensure a good quanity is supplied for the duration of his/her stay.
All rabbits that stay with Glos Bunny Boarding must also be up to date with their VHD and Myxomatosis.
Small Pet Boarding Tarif
A non refundable deposit of £5 is needed when booking.
Weekly rates:
1 rabbit or 2 bonded guinea pigs = £22
2 bonded rabbits = £32
Hamster, gerbil, mice, tortoise, rats etc. (cage to be provided by owner) = £10
Daily rates:
1 rabbit or 2 guinea pigs = £3.50
2 bonded rabbits = £4.50
other = £2.50
Long and short stays catered for, prices on enquiry.
