About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsBirdsReptilesHamsters, Mice etc.Hi! I'm Ryan, I've been working various animal care jobs since 2016, including volunteering at a charity farm, working at a pet shop and doggy day care, and boarding animals for friends. I also own two rabbits called Banjo and Betsy. I have experience with rabbits, rodents, lizards, snakes, tortoises, parrots, chickens, ducks, and more! I have been running CPC since May 2018 and I love meeting pets and their owners. Every animal has its own personality and it's fun to spend time with them and watch them explore and play.
Accommodation:
Outdoor aviary suitable for rabbits, guinea-pigs, tortoises, chickens and ducks. A lodge is also available for rabbits/guinea-pigs. There is also some space indoors for small animals and birds.
Exercise:
Aviary can be used for exercise, playpen can be provided for small pets eg hamsters. Birds unfortunately cannot be let out indoors but may be able to use aviary. Animals using the lodge can be let out within the lodge and into a run.
Health & Hygiene:
Rabbits MUST be vaccinated against Myxomatosis, RHD/VHD. and RHD2/VHD2. Proof of this must be provided. Pets which have a contagious illness are not boarded for the safety of other pets. I have species appropriate disinfectant for most animals, as well as mite spray. Accommodation is spot-cleaned daily and deep cleaned when needed. Additionally accommodation is cleaned before and after being used. CPC is in walking distance of a vet. Only food which the pet is used to will be offered, the exception being when a pet is refusing to eat. Fresh water provided for all pets at all times. Open food and water containers are cleaned every day.

£5.00 per day
£10.00 per day (if boarding multiple rabbits/guinea-pigs, chickens, ducks, or multiple small animal homes)

Ryan took very good care of our pet Senegal Parrot "Foggy" whilst we holidayed at Center Parcs. We could tell that Foggy had enjoyed his time with and didn't want to leave which is testament to the care and attention that Foggy had received during his week with Ryan. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ryan to look after your small pets as they will be cared for and attended to with the same care and attention as you give to your little friend. We will be back with Foggy when we next holiday In East Anglia.

Ryan looked after our two guinea pigs absolutely beautifully. It was clear that he really loves animals and they really bonded with him during their two weeks. It was lovely receiving updates as to how they were getting on as well. Will definitely be using again for holidays.

I was so pleased to find Crown Pet Care as it is local to me, and small animal boarding can be hard to come across and it is a big favour to ask a friend to look after your small pets. I have boarded my two house rabbits on two occasions, once just a weekend and more recently for a 10 day period. It is great for me to have the peace of mind that my pets are well looked after by an experienced handler in a clean and spacious environment. Ryan is also happy to send photos/updates of your pet if required. I can't recommend Crown Pet Care enough, great service and very reasonably priced.

Ryan looked after our 4 mice and 1 hamster whilst we were away for a week. He cleaned them out as requested. Plus he gave us a written chart sheet on the well-being of the animals which covered every day. We found hm polite and friendly. We will be using him next time.

Excellent care was provided for Stuart our indoor rabbit when we were away for the week, we will be booking Stuart in again this summer. Ryan loves the animals he cares for and I know Stuart is in safe hands when he goes for his holidays.
