About our Small Pet Boarding

We board: RabbitsGuinea PigsBirdsHamsters, Mice etc.

Family of 4, with experience of animals for years and currently own 4 birds (various sizes) and a rabbit ourselves. All family members love animals ensuring that your beloved pet feels at home.

We are fully insured, giving you piece of mind during your beloved pets stay with us.

Own cage to be brought to accommodate during their stay however we do have a variety of indoor and outdoor cages available for use during your animals stay if their own cage can not be transported.

As much hay/fresh fruit and veg as your pet can eat is available but daily limits will be set based on the breed.

The animals own food should be brought to keep your pets routine the same as possible and to ensure that their dietary needs are met.

Animals are allowed out of their cages daily under our watchful eye.

Rabbits and guinea pigs have an outdoor pen to hop in and if house trained can be brought inside in order to get their daily exercise.

Within the household a family member will be in the house for most of the day meaning animals won't be left alone for long periods and will have a high amount of human interaction.

Health & Hygiene:

Cages cleaned on a daily basis, they wont just be cleaned quickly, they will be cleaned until spotless as this allows a clean and hygienic environment.

If anything was to happen to your pet during its stay which hopefully it wont there is a vet 5 minutes down the road which they will be taken to or if stated by you on our visitor information form your animal will be taken to their registered vet.

Please note that any vet bills will have to be covered by you.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

£4.00/night for large animals (large rabbits/large parrots)

£3.50/night for medium animals (rabbits/guinea pigs/medium parrots)

£2.50/night for small animals (hamsters/rats/small birds)

Discounts are often applied depending on length of stay and quantity of animals staying so please feel free to contact us for more details.

Lovely, friendly people who really care about animals! Felt really relaxed leaving our ringneck parakeet Ringo in their care and will definitely be returning to them! Very convenient and affordable! 10/10.

Highly recommended. Diane and her family looked after our two cockatiels for a fortnight and kept in touch by text. Had no worries about leaving them there.

We left two guinea pigs at HFH while we went on holiday for 7 nights, it was the first time we've ever left them with anyone so we were very worried. As it turned out we were worried for nothing. They were well looked after and were very happy. Just before we went away one of them was prescribed a series of meds and we thought wed have to cancel the holiday to keep up the meds. We were told not to worry and enjoy the holiday, and sure enough she was fine. A massive thank you to the family for everything, we've already booked our next time away.

Hi. I would recommend HFH pet hotel. They are very friendly and professional. My tortoise Rocky was well looked after and if he could speak would agree, he had a great time there i'm sure of that. I will be booking Rocky in again soon.

My two rats stayed at the Pet Hotel for 2 weeks at Easter 2017. We had a very warm welcome and a cage was ready and waiting for them, as ours was too bring with us. Everyone was welcoming and the pets already there looked happy. It was great getting pictures of the rats posted on Facebook for us to see while we were away. I'd recommend the Pet Hotel and will be using them again in the summer.

We have just been and picked up our 1 yr old mini loop rabbit up and she was a happy little bunny , her cage was properly cleaned and the accommodation was also very nice and clean , we have been away for a week and pepper was even more friendly than normal so obviously she had been out and played a lot, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting their pet looked after. The family are very friendly and accommodating. Thanks again guys

At Christmas time I left my bunny, Harley, a Harlequin rabbit, with the two extremely talented, caring and efficient sisters of HFH and their family. They not only cared for Harley and the other pets in their trust, but I can say that they loved and played with him and the other pets lucky enough to be with them. They are also so friendly and understanding. You have one less thing to worry about when going away. Also, they make arranging everything so easy as it is even possible to have your pet picked up and returned which was really helpful to me. You simply could not possibly find a better situation for your pet whilst you are away. The only worry is that your pet might not want to come home! I thoroughly recommend these caring, talented and efficient sisters.

Fantastic family who care for your animals as if they were their own. Looked after our two Guinea Pigs who we'd never left before. Felt completely at ease leaving them once I'd met the family and they sent regular updates and pictures. Would recommend and will definitely be sending Dash & Wicket to stay again.

My daughter was given a rabbit on 23rd of December by her boyfriend no cage no food or bedding just dumped with a big smile on his face never been thought out whatsoever we were leaving for London for Xmas 6 o'clock the next morning the rabbit could not go back it wasn't an option as the breeder was closed so I was in a terrible situation so I started ringing pet boarders at 1030 at night in a panic I phoned a few but either would not take it because it was young or that it was such short notice then I phoned the HFH pet hotel and I got a lovely lady who I explained the situation to she couldn't of been more understanding I dropped the rabbit off with nothing as I couldn't even get to the shops to buy things the rabbit needed but I was met by a lady and 2 kids and they just took the rabbit and told me not to worry and enjoy Xmas I couldn't thank them enough when I returned to pick the rabbit up it had been showered groomed and looking very good it had been pampered it was so at ease nothing like nervous when I dropped it off I can't praise this family enough they were lovely they deserve to do well I was given advice how to make it a house rabbit and we have called him Albert and he is settled well but for a novice to rabbits I couldn't have done this without the lady and her 2 children thank you and Albert will be back when we go on holiday that's for sure

Excellent boarding facilities for my 2 rabbits, very well looked after and was able to accommodate on short notice, very reasonably priced for 2 rabbits. Girls were lovely and kept in touch regularly so I knew rabbits were ok and enjoyed their stay. Would definitely recommend and use again.
