About Our Boarding Service:

Whenever you can't be there for your small animals - a holiday, a weekend away, work, or illness - we provide experienced care and give you peace of mind they are in safe hands. We will look after your pet like it’s one of our own.

Accommodation:

We care for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, chipmunks, chickens, parrots, birds of all sizes, ferrets and reptiles. Our cages are tailor-made to provide comfortable, easy to clean, hygienic accommodation, either in the dedicated boarding room in our main building or in our outside boarding area where we can provide deluxe hutches and large runs on grass or hard standing.

Cages are cleaned and tidied daily with full deep steam cleaning and bacterial protection being carried out before every boarder arrives and weekly for longer boarding stays.

Your pets are never mixed with others while they are in our care.

Exercise:

Exercise is an essential requirement for your pet’s physical and emotional well being, so we have ample space for outside exercise, weather permitting. Run areas on grass or hardstanding are spacious with ample shading.

We also have indoor run facilities to ensure that your pets have plenty opportunity to stretch their legs, even in poor weather.

Health & Hygiene:

During your pet’s stay, our knowledgeable and trained staff will provide:
Expert care and regular contact
Your pet’s usual dry food to ensure continuity of diet and so less risk of upset tummies. If your pet needs a special diet or if you prefer to bring your own dry food please let us know when you book
Fresh water, changed twice daily
Fresh, locally sourced vegetables, (daily unless you direct otherwise)
Ample amounts of fresh meadow hay
Fresh bedding, changed daily
Chickens will also be fed poultry grit, dried mealworm and poultry tonic seed.

We would prefer that rabbits have been vaccinated against myxomatosis and VHD before boarding, however, vaccination is currently not compulsory.

Rabbit Boarding Tarif

Booking couldn’t be simpler – You can call in store, email us, or phone us - whatever suits you. All we need is:-
* Your dates to check availability
* The type and number of pets to board
* Any preferences or other requirements you may have

We will provide you with a firm price, and if you are satisfied, a £10 deposit will secure your booking. Full payment is only required when you drop off your pet.

OUTDOOR BOARDING

Rabbits from £4.50 per day (second rabbit in the same cage/hutch - £2.65).

Guinea Pigs from £3.95 per day (second guinea pig in the same cage/hutch - £2.25).

Chickens from 75p per day
1 to 5 hens £1.50 per day each
6 to 10 hens £1.00 per day each
11 hens or more 75p per day each

INDOOR BOARDING

Rabbits from £2.95 per day (second rabbit in the same cage/hutch - £1.50)
Guinea Pigs from £2.50 per day (second guinea pig in the same cage/hutch - £1.25.)

Rats & Chipmunks (in your own cage) £2.00 per day
Hamsters, Gerbil, Mice (in your own cage) £1.50 per day
Ferrets £4.00 per day
Reptiles £4.00 per day

Large Birds £4.00 per day
Medium Birds £2.00 per day
Small Birds £1.75 per day
