About Our Boarding Service:
Creature Comforts pet boarding, is based in Hemel Hempstead, Herts. The service is run by myself, Holly.
I am very passionate about animal welfare and promoting correct animal care. I have over 10 years experience of caring for a number of small animals.
I cater for the following animals, Rats, Mice, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Gerbils, Ferrets,Tortoises, Small birds and Goldfish.
Fancy breeds very welcome.

Accomodation:
Creature Comforts HQ is our spacious and secure family home and garden. We have space for hutches and runs in our garden, which has a grazing area, and indoor cages for guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters ect. housed indoors.
All OWNER ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THEIR PET'S OWN HOUSING, FOOD AND BELONGINGS FOR THEIR STAY.
We currently have 2 outdoor hutches vacant (suitable for 2 guinea pigs or 1 rabbit), for owners who can't transport their pet's housing.
Exercise:
We have recently had a spacious outdoor run constructed for which Guinea pigs, Rabbits, Rats and Ferrets can enjoy. At Creature Comforts we strongly believe in allowing pets as much time out of their hutch/cage as possible, whatever the animal.
Health & Hygiene:
All hutches and cages are cleaned daily and disinfected between boarders. Providing the best standards for health and hygiene are of the utmost importance to me when I care for your pet. After all, a healthy animal is a happy animal!.
I rountinely check each animal everyday for any signs that it might be unwell. Animals kept outdoors can be at risk of fly-strike in the warmer weather, so I regularly check their coats when they have play time and give them a groom if necessary.
All boarding guests are given lots of time out of their 'house' for play time and cuddles. I recommend including some of your pet's favourite toys for their stay.
Fresh vegetables and greens are given daily to suppliment their normal dry food diet and fresh water is always available. Any special dietry requirements your pet needs will be happily catered for.
If in the unlikely circumstance vetinary assistance is needed for your pet I will contact either your vet (as stated on your booking form) or mine, whatever is closest and of course you will be notified immediately.
All vetinary fees that incure must be reimbursed to me on your return, all receipts will be provided.
All owners fill out a 'specific requirements' form, which states their pet/s individual needs, whether it be dietry or medical.
All rabbits that board with us must be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease .
Please make sure you can show me your correct vaccination certificates when you visit.

Prices:
£1.50 a day for goldfish/tropical fish
(tank must be provided).
£3 a day for small caged/per cage
(hamster,mice,gerbils,rats,birds).
£4 a day for larger caged (rabbit/guinea pig/ferret).
£6 a day per bonded pair.
(applies to larger caged only).
Discounts for longer boarders ( 2 weeks plus ).
No deposit required for stays less than 2 weeks.
