About our Home Boarding

Licensed by Aberdeenshire council and vet approved for home dog boarding, I provide an alternative to putting your dog into kennels. I offer your dogs a stay getting all the love and attention they are used to at home. I will follow your dog's normal routine as regards feeding, exercise and any other needs your dog may have.
I like to meet new clients with their dog(s) for a short walk if possible...followed by coffee in my home where the dogs can get to know each other and you can see where your dog(s) will be staying...also we can address any concerns you might have regarding any aspect of care.
Dogs on medication welcome.
Long or short stays welcome.

Your dog(s) will stay with us in our home, enjoying their usual home comforts. I can supply beds or you can bring your own with you along with their normal food. A blanket or item smelling of 'home' is always a good idea to bring along. Perhaps your dog sleeps in the kitchen, lounge, bedroom? No problem.
I have a secure garden with gates kept locked at all times. I have included some photos of our home and where I walk in the images below.

Having a Springer spaniel who loves to walk...and walk, I can exercise your dog for as long as you would like. I can exercise them with my dog on woodland walks and in the hills, or if you'd prefer I can walk your dog alone, on/off lead.

Health & Hygiene:

If I am concerned about your dogs health or sustains an injury while he/she is with me I will take him/her to Town and Country veterinary group in Banchory, or Torphins veterinary group if that is your normal vet.
If you want your dogs walked in woodland and hills please ensure she/he has had tick treatment.
I have to date successfully completed 2 canine first aid courses.
Fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary.

Home Boarding Prices

Price for 1 dog is £20 per night, 2nd and 3rd dogs are charged £10 each per night.
No deposit is required unless a very long stay of over 3 weeks and balance paid on picking up your dog/s at the end of his/her stay.
I accept cash, cheque or bank transfer.
I don't charge for cancellations but would like to be advised as soon as possible so that your dogs place can be given to another client.

Other Services

I do offer a pick up and drop off service if you live within my local area. Please discuss this at time of booking.

I do not advertise my address if possible for safety reasons, please phone/email for exact location.

My fourteen year old collie x spent seven weeks with Judy. My dog (Tess) was at that time suffering from kidney disease and had lost her appetite. Judy did everything she possibly could to make sure that Tess did eat something each day, usually her home cooking for dogs! Tess had fabulous care from Judy and I would recommend her dog boarding. She is a caring and very kind lady and has a great bonding with the dogs. Sadly Tess passed away two weeks ago but knowing that she was having first class care whilst I was overseas was a great benefit to me and my dog.
