Other Services

We offer daycare so you can enjoy a day out without worrying about leaving your dog at home or in a holiday home.

We are happy to collect and drop of in the local area, we can also collect from further afield for a small charge to cover petrol.

All dogs who come to stay with us are issued Milton K9 Tags. We are happy to text or email you to let you know how your dog is settling in and you will be given a report of how your dog has got on while they are with us.

We were recommended Libby by a friend and fellow dog owner, and we were so glad they did! This is a much friendlier and personal alternative to kennels. The dogs are kept in the house so they are not on their own. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rex was enjoying his holiday more than us! It’s peace of mind for us that he is happy while we are away, and we know that he is in very safe hands as they have all the relevant qualifications and most importantly really care about your pet.

Sam, my Alaskan Malamute, has been staying 3 days a week with Libby since he was eight weeks old as well as boarding while I am on holiday each year (Libby always sends photos) and odd nights here and there! Sam is 5 next birthday and views Libby's as his second home. He races in when I drop him off and watches for her to arrive if she is collecting him. It has always been a fantastic place for him to stay and socialise with other dogs. Neil & Libby are both extremely experienced with dogs and I have never found anyone else I trust with the care of my boy. I know that when I collect him, he will have been well exercised, fed and had a huge amount of fun and play with the other dogs - in a safe environment. I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough and don't know what I would do without them!

Dear Libby We have had dogs for over 25 years and this is the first time I did not get that sinking feeling after dropping off our “boy”. I knew he was going to have a great holiday aswell as us. We are so grateful for the obvious care you have taken of Rufus our large, hairy and enthusiastic golden retriever. It was lovely to get the photos and re-count of his exciting 13 day summer holiday. He returned home bright eyed, well groomed and walked but perhaps looked a little sad to be leaving you! I highly recommend Libby and her family. They are very dog savvy, inspire confidence and give you complete peace of mind. Rufus is very much looking forward to his next holiday with you. What a fabulous alternative to kennels! With our grateful thanks, The Ogden Family Christchurch”

Libby, we wanted to say how happy we were with Poppy’s stay with you. You made her feel so welcome and gave her such a fabulous time. It was so good to get emails and photos so we could see how she was doing. We really cannot recommend you highly enough and would say to anyone who was thinking of leaving their dog in your hands to not hesitate for a moment. It is so good for us that we can go on holiday and know Poppy is probably having a better time than us

Thank you once again for looking after Maisy and Bonnie for the third time we have been away. Also for having Ruby, our daughter's Doodle, this time. When we leave them with you, they don't even try to follow us out of your house, so they must be at ease with you. We are very confident you are giving them your best attention and treating them as your own dogs. It is reassuring to know that we can always go on our holidays knowing that our dogs will enjoy their holiday with you and are being well looked after! Many thanks again Love Penny

Thank you so much for the amazing care given to Burt and Emily whilst we had a week in the "sun". It was their first stay with you but not their last. They were obviously well cared for and even though Emily had an upset tummy before she arrived and needed antibiotics during her stay, this was no problem. Being a rescue dog, Emily has some issues and Neil has helped enormously with helping her to understand her place in the pack, amazingly this is lasting into her return home! Burt has clearly had a great time too judging by pictures you kindly took for us. I will certainly be recommending you to people but will make sure we've got our booking in first! Thank you again for taking Burt and Emily into your home, we can look forward to our holidays without worrying about them anymore. Kellie, Neil, Burt and Emily XxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxX

It was Billy's first holiday away from home. Being just 9 months old he was a real mummy's boy and very timid especially with big dogs. It was heart wrenching leaving Billy but Libby and Neil really do know what they are doing! Whilst on holiday we received regular updates on how Billy was settling in which gave us peace of mind. When collecting Billy we received a really warm welcome and it was obvious Billy had had a great time and had spent time with bigger dogs as he is now so much more confident. He left us as a puppy and came home a man. We can highly recommend Libby and Neil - Milton k9. On our next holiday Billy will be going back to his 2nd family - Libby and Neil.

Tiny first went to Milton K9 when he was 5 months old, at the time he was suffering from seperation anxiety so we had to find somebody to have him during the day due to our working commitments.since Tiny has been with Libby and Neil he no longer suffers from the condition. Libby and Neil made Tiny feel immediately so welcome, they are extremely dedicated and always give me peace of mind that Tiny is in safe, cared for and always having fun during the day. Over the last 4 months of taking Tiny too Milton K9 3 days a week he has become a confident, well behved charming dog and this is all thanks to Libby and Neil. Richie and I highly recommend Milton K9 so if you are looking for just day care or boarding and want an honest, affordable and trustworthy service you are certainly guaranteed this.

We were so grateful for the care and commitment Neil and Libby showed to our elderly Lhasa Apso, Archie during his stay at MiltonK9. Due to Archie's age (15) it was very reassuring that we were kept up to date with emails and photographs of his stay which showed us that he had settled well and had commandeered Neil's lap for evening cuddles! The prompt trip to the vet for an eye problem literally saved Archie's remaining eyesight. Thank you so much to the Bells!

When you have two dogs as we do, we did not want to separate them, especially when one was a rescue dog who had had a few issues. We thought finding someone who understands behaviour & knows how to handle two strong dogs is difficult. But we have found those people in Libby & Neil , they not only know dogs but understand them, our dogs came back better dogs . Even though we thought they were great anyway. I would have no hesitation in recommending Neil & Libby to any fussy dog owner, who treats their dogs as part of their family. We have booked again for next year .

Thank you very much for the outstanding care you provided for Beau while we were away. On Beau's Trial visit he was made to feel part of the family immediately so much so, the day we dropped him off he couldn't wait to get in the door! Any worries we had about Beau's individual needs were put at ease and catered for brilliantly, allowing us to have a restful and stress free break. We will definitely recommend you to our friends and family as well as booking you in the near future.

Hi Libby & Neil. Just want to say thank you for looking after Rafferty. It is so reassuring to know he is being well cared for, in a family environment. He certainly seems to love his stays with you, in fact he has a bit of a 'grump' when he comes home, as we think he really enjoys all the activity he gets, whilst he is with you!! We feel you offer the exact care we were looking for. Raff 'wants' quite a lot of attention, and as we are both retired, he is with us most of the time. However, being a lively Boxer dog, he also 'needs' a firm consistent attitude, so he doesn't become 'too big for his boots' !! It is so good to know two lovely people who can offer this wonderful service for our 'boy' !! THANK YOU! Marianne & Alan x

As soon as Neil or Libby turn up for Taz, she is out the door and straight into their car ready for her exciting walk. I feel happy because I know she is loved and happy

Hi Libby, Neil and family Just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for making Brody's stay with you a happy one, from his report you obviously understood his character completely. I thought your customer service was excellent by the information you asked for, the re-assuring texts and the report and its content, plus your flexibility in meeting half way. I would definitely use you again if it was needed and recommend your service to anyone who asked. once again - many many thanks

Our dog is very precious to us and therefore where we choose to have him stay and be looked after is very important. Once we met Neil and Libby (and found out that Neil is a police dog handler) we knew that he would be well looked after and that has proven to be the case. We picked our dog up recently after a holiday and looking at his face I think he would have liked to stay longer! I can't think of anyone better than Milton K9 to entrust the care of your dog when you're away.
