About our Home Boarding
Hello my name is Patricia and I run Little Lodgers with my husband David, we are both animal lovers with 6 rabbits and a dog of our own.
Little Lodgers provides boarding for toy/small breed dogs. To ensure a home like and stress free stay only one customers dog(s) is boarded at one time if requested.
I also provide free collection and drop off within a 5 mile radius.
I have over 10 years practical experience in caring for animals including Dogs, Rabbits, Guinea pigs and Hamsters, combined with being City and Guild Qualified in Advance Animal Management and on-going education to a degree level in Animal Management.
My mission is simply to provide animals with a comfortable, safe and stress free environment to enjoy whilst giving animal owners the peace of mind, knowing their companion is in safe hands; allowing people to enjoy a holiday, move home or be away from their animal for whatever the reason may be.
Accommodation:
As only one customers dog(s) is/are boarded at one time where requested they will have a 2 bedroom house to themselves to relax in along with access to a large, secure, garden.
Exercise:
Dogs are provided with walks as per usual routine in local forest/park depending on individual requirements and free access to a garden during the day.
Health & Hygiene:
All dogs must be up to date with routine vaccinations before boarding.
Dogs must also be up to date with worm and flea treatments.
Proof of preventative health treatment will be required on arrival.
We are happy to take on animals who maybe on long term medication depending on reason for medication. We will not be able to board any animals who how signs of illness if it may put other boarders at risk.
If vet care is needed during boarding we will try to arrange for your animal to see their own vet. if this is not possible then we will take him/her to our own and customer is liable for costs.

All prices and details can be found at www.littlelodgersboarding.co.uk and we are happy to accept cash, cheque and bank transfer.
Price includes exclusive boarding for only one customer at a time (no dog sharing from other customers), toys, bedding, up to 3 forest/park walks and free collection and drop off within a 5 mile radius (example of areas this would include are Romford, Hornchurch, Noak Hill and Brentwood.
The only thing we ask is that you bring food for your dog due to the many varieties a change in diet may cause digestive problems.
50% deposit required to confirm placement, which is refundable up to 28 days from boarding date, once within 28 days of boarding date deposit becomes non-refundable.
Boarding prices are daily per dog:
Single dog £20 / Two dogs £15 / Three dogs or more £13.
Doggy Daycare prices are daily per dog:
Single dog £15 / Two dogs £10 / Three dogs or more £8.

We are open 8:00am - 9:00pm Mon-Sat and 9:00am-6:00pm Sun for telephone contact and collection and drop off. Visits between However due to the 11-4 daily. Due to the business being our home as well visits are strictly by appointment only.

"Our one and a half year old staffy (Belle) stayed with Tricia at Little Lodgers for 2 weeks September 2012 while me and my family went on holiday. Belle is a lovely dog but suffers with anxiety and was very unsure of other dogs, anything bigger than her (for e.g. buses) or things that take her by surprise and as a result of this we had reduced her walks to once a day as they became so stressful for her. So as you could imagine me and my family were quite worried about leaving Belle but we needn't have worried at all. Little Lodgers was fantastic, we had regular updates from Tricia keeping us up to date with what Belle had been doing, even picture messages which was lovely and made our holiday even more enjoyable knowing that Belle was comfortable and having fun too. Tricia completely put us at ease and you could see Belle was having a fantastic holiday at Little Lodgers. When we got home Tricia dropped Belle home to us, and we were delighted to hear that Belle had been on lots of walks in the forest and had been very well behaved, so when we took Belle for a walk later that day, Belle was like a different dog. She wasn't scared of everything any more and she was confident and just curious rather than scared like she was before. Tricia had also stuck to all our training what we had in place which was fantastic. Since then Belle has also had the confidence to play with other dogs so now our walks have become fun for all of us rather than a stress and as a result of this we have now increased her walks to twice a day. Little Lodgers were fantastic and did not only board our dog but improved her behaviour and our experience as dog owners. We have booked with her for next year and if you want your dog to have as much fun as you while your on holiday I would definitely recommend Little Lodgers."
