About our Home Boarding

Paws for a Break is run by myself, I live in West Sussex for the past 7 years.  I have  always had pets  and currently have two lovely dogs.

As a dog owner I appreciate how important they are to us as they are very valued members of any family.” and understand the great lengths owners will go to, to ensure their pets are always in a loving, caring and safe environment.
Whether you’re going away on holiday or just a short weekend break, I'm here to help.
.

Accommodation:

I am very pleased that I am able to offer my home to make your pets feel comfortable and safe, I live in a detached house located in a quite cul-de-sac location with a good size garden  within a 5 minute walk to the country park and the South Down link.

Exercise:

I will take dogs for two walks a day through a variety of countryside walks, The level of exercise will depend on the individual needs of the dog, their fitness and age.

Health & Hygiene:

All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and we must see proof of this prior to your dog's holiday. We also ask that you keep them wormed.
We are registered with our local vet, and fully licenced. Visiting dogs must wear our identity tag on their collar.
We ask owners to provide the food that their dog is used to eating for the duration of their stay.

I was very nervous about finding a place for Georgie whilst I was on holiday - my mum had always had my pets but sadly she has passed away. My nerves were unfounded. Katrina and her family could have been nicer and Georgie had a wonderful time playing with all her doggie friends. This will be her second home now when we go away.

My two dogs have stayed with Katrina in her lovely home with her own dogs a couple of times now. I never want to leave them with anybody else except Katrina now. They are so happy and relaxed in her home, they truely don’t want to come home. Katrina goes out of her way to make sure they are part of the family. Exceptional. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

I highly recommend this lady and her lovely family home, my dog absolutely hates kennels, but having choosen this option I no longer have to spend my entire holiday worrying about the dog. Kat has two laid back dogs of her own and she is a natural, you can see she really cares. I have already reserved dates for my next hol.
