About our Guinea Pig Boarding

Woodcroft Warrens was established in 2006 and has held an impeccable reputation ever since. We are a family home based in a quiet country lane, within the calm tranquility of the Essex countryside. We have a natural compassion for all animals, so at Woodcroft Warrens, all pets are treated with love and kindness. We take great pleasure in caring for your pets, spending time with them, being present and peaceful - ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable in our care. We sincerely believe that there is no safer, cleaner, more loving place for them to spend their holidays.

Accommodation:

Our indoor housing includes:

• Radiators (for gentle heat in the winter)
• Lights/lamps
• Fly Screens
• Fans & cooling (for the warmer summer months)

We do not house bunnies in hutches. We have walk-in rooms for house bunnies. All accommodation is well lit, 100% secure, and all surfaces are wipe-clean and hygenic. Walls and ceilings of our inside accommodation are fully insulated keeping the temperature comfortable throughout the year.

Our outdoor housing consists of a 9ft x 3ft+ walk in runs with cosy bedroom areas, within a shady, peaceful, secure setting. All outdoor housing is totally weather proof, double locked with extra solid security doors closed at night, and of course extremely clean.

Exercise:

Our boarding bunnies and piggies are lucky enough to enjoy luxury accommodation during their holiday period. There is plenty of hopping and playing space for them to use 24/7 - for this reason we do not transfer guests to outside grass runs. We feel that remaining within the safety of our highly secure cabins is best for the short time they are with us. Besides, we can't effectively clean the grass!

Health & Hygiene:

We offer a professional set-up and have systems in place to ensure the hotel is impeccable in every way. Boarding bunnies and piggies are kept exceptionally clean at all times. Housing is cleaned daily and the all pets are health checked on a regular basis. All rabbits must be free of infection, worms, mites etc when they arrive.

Guinea Pig Boarding Prices

1st Bunny £13.00 per day; sharing bunnies £2.00 per day

1st Piggy £9.00 per day; sharing piggies £2.00 per day

Collection & Arrival days are charged for regardless of arrival/collection time.

Prices include hay, fresh vegetables, all bowls, bottles, litter trays etc. The only thing you need to bring is your pet's usual pellets.
