Here at Manor Farm we offer a family run small animal boarding service for rabbits, guinea pigs & hamsters.
We have been looking after small animals for nearly ten years. After years of not being able to find suitable accommodation for my own pets, I decided I would love to be the place that people can bring their pets without any worry. We pride ourselves on offering an excellent service with any individual requirements being met for your pets, even if that means boarding them in our house for you! (Which we often do!)
We have been successfully operating our boarding service now for many years. We ourselves own rabbits, guinea pigs and our beautiful cockatoo Wappa! Of course this is alongside our mini zoo of pet alpacas, horses, goats and pigs
We also own two giant continental rabbits, Deirdre & Doris. We offer huge pens for all rabbits coming to stay and even bigger ones for any continentals coming to stay because we understand how much room they all need.
We are dairy farmers & my husband has a dairy herd of around 150 cows so between us we have a vast experience of looking after animals of all kinds.
With most of our customers who have now become regulars, what better recommendation can that be, it’s lovely to see them return with their pets year after year. They make what we do very enjoyable and their recommendations to other people really means a lot.

We are a fully licensed working farm with all relevant insurances in place.

Accommodation:

Situated on a secure site in our bespoke stable block right by our house, all animal boarding accommodation is completely enclosed & weatherproof indoors ensuring your pets are totally safe, giving you piece of mind.
The accommodation we provide varies so we can offer the most suitable housing for your pets, the majority of our pens consist of two tiered hutches with large attached runs for rabbits & guinea pigs. We offer huge pens and runs ensuring your furries have plenty of room while they are on their holidays. All pens have rubber matting underneath making them even cosier. We use quality dust extracted bedding, straw, hay & shavings with all feed also supplied. Fresh greens/carrots etc alongside a very good quality pellet mix supplied daily, unless you have a preference to bring your own.
All hamsters & gerbils are housed in our house with us, in their own cages that you would bring them in.
We are a working dairy farm and live here on site so your pets have access to us 24/7.
I’m often found in the stables with a cup of tea & radio on whilst entertaining any boarders, we fully interact with them all.

Exercise:

We offer substantial size pens so your pets have a free run while they stay with us. There are pictures in my gallery showing examples of some of the pens and how ample they are.

Health & Hygiene:

We use a defra approved broad spectrum disinfectant between boarders.
We only accept fit and healthy animals on site.
We advise that all relevant vaccinations should be in place.
We have an excellent relationship with our vet who is located within five minutes from our farm should they be required.

Guinea Pig Boarding Prices

Rabbits per pen £6 per day per hutch (not per pet).
Guinea pigs per pen £6 per day per hutch (not per pet)
Gerbils & hamsters £5 per day
Multiple pens given at a discounted rate.

Short stays more than welcome, no minimum night requirements.

Other Services

All feed supplied (with treats of course) unless you would specifically like to bring your own. We do use quality feeds and bedding. We are more than happy to accommodate your pets, anything that makes them settle is always a good thing.

My four rabbits have stayed here recently and i couldn't have asked for more service and care for my babies. They were pampered and stayed in spacious clean accommodation. Lynda the owner could not have been more helpful and even sent me an update and picture while I was away. Great rates and a very friendly professional business. I certainly would not hesitate in using Lynda again or recommending her to friends family and colleagues. First class service from a first class lady.
