About our Boarding Cattery

Nutkins Cattery is a family run purpose-built cattery offering all year-round boarding for your cat requirements.
We are a small cattery set in beautiful rural Essex Countryside which will fully engage our guests both young and old. Anxious and nervous cats will feel at home in our quiet surrounding with country views and wildlife visitors.
At Nutkins we offer 1st class care to all our boarding guests making sure your cat receives a stress free and enjoyable stay while the owners enjoy their holiday.
All cats, temperament, age, medical condition and diets are taken into account before the cat arrives so that their care is individually tailored to their own needs and preference.
Cat requiring medication or with special medical needs (e.g Diabetes) can be catered for.
We have a large choice of cat food available; wet, dry or senior and feed only the highest quality cat food brands. Raw diets and cooked meat and fish is also available Please notify us of any preferences your cat may have. Please note that prescription diets are not supplied and will need to come with your cat

Accommodation:

Our purpose built accommodation is warm in Winter and cool & ventilated in the summer with each cat having access to their own outside run.
Each guest is allocated their own dustpan and brush and litter tray which are disinfected between guests.
A daily record will be given at the end of your cats stay so you can see how they have been doing while you have been away (this is also to help detect any changed in behaviour , eating and toileting).
The whole cattery is under CCTV Surveillance and can also be seen from out home.
Back ground music is available for the cats that like a little more noise in their life.
We have ample parking but do offer a collection and drop off service if required.

Local Vets(1.3 miles away) on call 24/7 or if you are local we will use your own vet if required
The cattery has been set up following International Cat Care, formerly the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) practices and guidelines

Boarding Cattery Prices

Our prices are charged per day and are fully inclusive of all food (except prescription diets) and treats (if allowed), administration of medication(excluding insulin) , veterinary, accident & animals in transit insurance cover, heating, lighting and all the attention and play that they need.

Other Services

Collection and drop off service.
Delivery/collection within 5 miles of Pebmarsh is £5, additional miles are charges at £1 per mile.
