About our Boarding Cattery

Puss in Rhoose is a licensed, family run boarding cattery. It is ideally located right in the centre of Rhoose. As a small cattery, we are able to give each cat lots of care and attention and offer services tailored to suit individual needs.

Accommodation:

Our pens are built to F.A.B and C.I.E.H. standards, constructed from synthetic wood which is easier to clean and maintain and more hygienic than normal wood. Each unit has a secured run and a fully insulated sleeping quarters with its own light, heater and thermostat. Heating is provided when the temperature falls below 18°C (64°F), regardless of the time of year.
Warm bedding, toys and scratching boards are provided but owners are welcome to bring their own to help their cats settle in.

Exercise:

The pens are fitted with a ladder and shelves for the cats to sleep on. We are constantly adding new things for the cats to enjoy (balls, catnip toys, feeding exercise toys, tents for the cats to hide in etc).

Health & Hygiene:

We ask that all cats due to come into our cattery are fully vaccinated and treated for fleas prior to arrival.
We pride ourselves on our hygiene standards and the accommodation is kept very clean at all times. The bedding is checked daily and washed if necessary. When a cat leaves us, the chalet and all the equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

In order to maintain the highest standard of hygiene we use disposable scratching boards.

Boarding Cattery Prices

Rates: £12.00 per day per 1 cat, £18.00 per day per 2 cats sharing. Minimum charge is £50. There is a cancellation fee if a booking is cancelled less than 1 month before the arrival date.
